The Division of Pediatric Nephrology (Ped Neph) in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School and UMass Memorial Health Care is recruiting a full time Pediatric Nephrologist (clinician/educator or scientist) to join one full time pediatric nephrologist and a pediatric nephrology nurse practitioner. The pediatric nephrology division at UMass is a collaborative team that provides outstanding patient and family centered care to children with kidney disease and hypertension in central Massachusetts.
Interested applicants will have the opportunity to be involved in medical student and Pediatric resident education, research projects and academic endeavors. Institution offers many opportunities for personal growth such as junior faculty development program, onboarding mentorship and more.
UMass Memorial Children's Medical Center (CMC) is the only tertiary health care facility for infants, children and adolescents in Central New England and serves a diverse demographic patient population. We house more than 30 pediatric specialty services, 30-bed inpatient pediatric unit, 10-bed PICU, 49-bed NICU, a dedicated pediatric emergency department and a Level 1 trauma designation.
Candidates should be Board Certified/Board Eligible. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience. The candidate must have a strong interest in clinical care and teaching. Candidates with funded research are also encouraged to apply.
