Job Summary

Geisinger Community Medical Center, located in Scranton, PA, is seeking an Otolaryngologist interested in General Otolaryngology, Otology, Rhinology or Facial Plastics to join our comprehensive and growing team.

Job Duties

Responsibilities include:

  • 3 days outpatient work, 1 day in the OR & ½ day of administrative time/week
  • Participate in call
  • Participate in teaching, scholarly activities, interdisciplinary programs and committees
  • Draw from service area of 500,000 and enjoy an instant referral base from 50+ Primary Care Physicians

Position Details

ABOUT GEISINGER COMMUNITY MEDICAL CENTER (GCMC), Scranton, Pa., is an acute care hospital licensed for 297 beds and houses the only Level II Trauma Center in Lackawanna County and Scranton’s only neurosurgery program and adult in-patient behavioral health unit. It is also home to comprehensive cardiovascular and orthopaedic services, as well as a broad range of other surgical and radiological services. The campus is affiliated with Geisinger-Mountain View Care Center, Scranton, Pa., a 180-bed long term care facility.
