CARDIAC SURGERY INTENSIVISTS

Full-Time and Per Diem Opportunities in Los Angeles, California

The Southern California Permanente Medical Group (SCPMG) is seeking fellowship-trained board eligible/board certified Cardiac Intensivists to join our well-established Cardiac Surgery Department in Los Angeles. The Cardiac Intensivists work in conjunction with the Cardiac Surgeons in our dedicated CTICU and Cardiac Surgery step down unit for pre-operative and post-operative cardiac surgery patients. The Cardiac Surgery Department currently performs approximately 1,500 pump cases per year encompassing all aspects of adult cardiac surgery.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible / Board Certified Critical Care Medicine
• Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Special interest in management of cardiac surgery patients with opportunity for development of advanced procedural skills and research
• Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment
