Job Summary

Medical Director, Outpatient Services, Psychiatry Establishes and leads execution of a strategic plan for the provision of department services across the organization, fostering a spirit of innovation in care delivery, maximizing the use of technology where possible to improve quality and enhance efficiency. The Chief will direct providers, faculty, residents and other clinicians, to optimize the care of patients, support research endeavors, and provide effective and meaningful educational programs across the Department.

Job Duties

The Medical Director, Division of Outpatient Services, serves as a key member of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health’s Executive Leadership Team, leads the development and execution of the Division’s strategic plan, partners with physician and other Department leaders to continually improve the value of outpatient behavioral health services, leads the professional development and engagement of outpatient providers and staff, and supports the implementation and measurement of value-based models of behavioral health care delivery.

The Medical Director, Division of Outpatient Services, reports directly to the Chair of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health and works in close partnership with the Clinical Director and Operations Director in the Division of Outpatient Services.

The Medical Director, Division of Outpatient Services, maintains an active clinical practice and actively supports the quality improvement and education missions of the Department.
