Hartford HealthCare's Behavioral Health Network (HHC BHN), the largest and most comprehensive behavioral health system in New England, has a new opportunity available for a BE / BC Psychiatrist to join our cohesive multidisciplinary Adult Partial Hospital Program (PHP) / Intensive Outpatient program (IOP) at The Institute of Living, one of America's "Ivy League" Behavioral Health Centers, and a national leader in comprehensive treatment, research and education.

Some highlights of this opportunity include:
  • The Adult Day Treatment Program (ADTP) is a short-term, intensive, outpatient, group therapy program. The mission of the ADTP is to improve the mental health of people-in-recovery who are suffering from a recent, severe worsening of mental health or co-occurring symptoms
  • The Young Adult Services (YAS) Intensive Outpatient Program and Partial Hospital Program (IOP/PHP) is a short-term, intensive, outpatient group therapy program
  • The Psychiatrist will participate in patient care, resident supervision and possible didactic teaching, joining a mature and collegial faculty peer group
  • Applicants will be eligible for academic appointments through our affiliation with the University of Connecticut, School of Medicine
