The Musculoskeletal staff are actively involved in the supervision and teaching of our radiology residents, medical students, fellows and learners from other departments. This section works closely with clinical services including busy Orthopedic Surgery, Rheumatology and Neurology departments as well as a growing Sarcoma Tumor Service. Section members attend and contribute to a variety of multidisciplinary conferences. A focus on high quality clinical work and service is paramount. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience. Applicants must be eligible for licensure in New Hampshire and Vermont.
The successful candidate will join an academic practice comprised of 40 radiologists. Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center is the only academic medical center in New Hampshire, providing tertiary care services for our region, and serving as the only Level 1 trauma center in the state. State-of-the-art imaging equipment includes 6 MRI scanners, four CT scanners, PET/CT and 7 US machines. The staff includes technologists with specific training in musculoskeletal ultrasound. The radiology department also provides teleradiology and on-site coverage for multiple affiliated hospitals throughout New Hampshire and Vermont.
