Baptist Heart Specialists is a thriving clinical practice supported by the reginal leaders in cardiovascular care. As a part of our team you will have access to an unmatched breadth of services via our top-ranked, comprehensive program, and award-winning facilities.
The Baptist Heart team is comprised of over 30 board certified physicians serving eight locations in four counties. We provide the full spectrum of diagnostic, invasive, and interventional cardiology care including peripheral vascular, comprehensive electrophysiology, and structural heart.
What You Can Expect
As an Interventional Cardiologist on our team, your time will be split between Baptist Medical Center Clay and Baptist Medical Center South campuses.
- At Clay, you will be on general call with both non-invasive and interventional physicians preforming diagnostics only
- At South, you will be on STEMI call with interventional physicians, preforming stents and prepping structural heart patient
What You Will Need
- Proficiency with radial coronary interventions, basic peripheral interventions, Illiacs, SFA
- Comfortability with coronary and peripheral atherectomy
- Experience with impella positioning
- Interest in veinous thromboembolism
Our New Home in Clay County
Baptist Clay will be the newest facility in the Baptist Health family. This full-service, 100-bed hospital will open fall of 2022, expanding on the existing Baptist Clay Medical Campus. You will have the advantage of joining an established colleague and broad-based support to provide excellent care to your patients.

This provides our physicians the collaboration necessary to achieve quality outcomes and the referral opportunity to build robust practices.
