The Yale School of Medicine invites applications for a Long-COVID Clinical Director as full-time faculty at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. This position will reside in the Department of Internal Medicine, Section of General Internal Medicine with primary clinical practice based at a newly formed multispecialty Long COVID Consultation Clinic. Primary responsibilities are conducting in-person and telehealth clinic sessions to evaluate patients with Long COVID clinical issues and coordinate their care among specialty colleagues and ancillary care providers. Teaching responsibilities may include teaching of medical students and residents in the ambulatory practice setting, as well as up to 4 weeks of inpatient attending on a resident team. The individual will participate in on-call coverage in rotation and attendance at regular clinical team, participate in projects to improve quality of care, as well as in the academic activities of the Section of General Internal Medicine.

Opportunities exist for other educational and scholarly work depending on the interest of the faculty member.

Qualifications: ABIM Board-Certified, Internal Medicine with interest in serving as the Lead Physician in a new Yale-New Haven Health System Long COVID Clinical Program.
