The CardioVascular Center (CVC) at Tufts Medical Center is seeking a full-time cardiac electrophysiologist to join the faculty at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.

The position involves providing consultative and procedural electrophysiology services at Tufts Medical Center, with a particular focus on contributing to or leading the growth of a VT ablation program. The large Advanced Heart Failure program at Tufts Medical Center provides a substantial opportunity to support the growth of a VT program. We have a highly evolved Critical Care program, with 24/7 intensivist coverage in the intensive care units and availability of Anesthesia/Critical Care trained MDs to work hand-in-hand with the EP team in the newly opened state-of-the-art EP lab, enabling multidisciplinary team support for highly complex ablation cases including those on mechanical support.

How you'll transform patient care:
  • You'll join a team of full-time electrophysiologists and an expanding program
  • You'll care for patients through both inpatient and outpatient care
  • You'll drive growth of a complex tertiary/quaternary care program with highly challenging patient care
  • You'll work with a supportive and collegial multidisciplinary team
  • You'll demonstrate commitment to the education of trainees at all levels, including electrophysiology fellows

Who you are:
  • BC/BE in Cardiovascular Disease, BC/BE in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
  • Have trained at a high-volume VT ablation program, and /or have had substantial experience in practice with complex cases, and a passion for challenging procedures.
  • Record of exceptional clinical skills, with a focus on contributing to the growth of a VT ablation program
  • Demonstrated academic ambition and scholarly achievement
