Texas Oncology is looking to hire a Radiation Oncologist to join a busy practice in the East Texas. This is an amazing opportunity for a physician that is interested in bolstering a thriving market that is in need of a second full time Radiation Oncologist, with a population of over one million residents, while being supported by the largest oncology practice in the state of Texas. This practice has broken ground on a new 90,000 square foot comprehensive cancer center with state-of-the-art technology, enabling a patient centric experience. Texas Oncology - Tyler, boasts a nationally recognized Phase One Research Program, that will include access to Radiation Oncology clinical trials. The Hem/Onc research initiative leads The US Oncology Network in annual accruals making this a unique and exciting opportunity for a hard-working and motivated physician. This physician will work closely with 7 Medical Oncologists, 2 Gynecologic Oncologists and 1 Radiation Oncologist as well as 6 Advanced Practice Providers.

Tyler is a boutique city in the heart of the piney woods of East Texas just an hour and a half outside of the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. Known as the "Rose Capital of the World", Tyler was once the epicenter of the East Texas Oil Boom of the early 20 th century and is one of the wealthiest and most desired locations in the state. Tyler also boasts a robust offering to residents by way of the world class Caldwell Zoo, the Cowan Performing Arts Center, its own symphony orchestra, a four-year university with UT-Tyler and one of the largest junior colleges in the state with Tyler Junior College. Tyler is served by Pounds Regional Airport and has daily flights into DFW International Airport and George Bush Intercontinental Airport of Houston.
