ICU Night Intensivist

The Respiratory Institutes Department of Critical Care Medicine is recruiting intensivists for our Night ICU Coverage Program. The department is currently home to over 70 staff physicians who provide ICU clinical services both in tertiary and regional hospitals, serve as teaching attending physicians for resident and fellow teams, actively participate in the Lerner College of Medicine as physician faculty, and have vibrant research portfolios in various aspects of critical care medicine, operations, and quality of care. The night ICU coverage program includes two components: 1) on-site night ICU coverage; 2) eHospital (telemedicine ICU).

We invite highly qualified Board Certified / Board Eligible candidates in Critical Care and trained in Internal Medicine who are committed to excellence in patient care to join an outstanding team. Academic appointments are available through the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. The Night Coverage Program provides physicians with an opportunity to practice high quality medicine and see a diverse spectrum of patient pathologies, while ensuring a work-life balance. It is particularly suitable for physicians looking for either a transitional position of 2-5 years or for a flexible work schedule to meet their personal needs. It is an outstanding opportunity for recent fellowship graduates who are to continue their research projects started during their fellowship or to join current research projects within our MICUs, and earn a competitive salary with generous benefits.
