Job Summary

Geisinger is seeking an additional Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Pain physician to join our Northeast Pennsylvania team!

Job Duties

Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre is a campus of Geisinger Wyoming Valley (a Level II Trauma Center) in Wilkes-Barre, PA. GSWB includes an emergency department, urgent care, same-day and short-stay surgeries, rehabilitation, and pain management. The Interventional Pain Centers at Geisinger provide diagnoses and treatment of pain problems. They are staffed by anesthesiologists, advanced practitioners, rehabilitation medicine providers, and neurosurgeons.

*Pain fellowship is required.

About the Position:

· 3 Physician / 3 Advanced Practitioner staffing model

· 18-20 procedures per physician/day

· Minimal opioid management

· Strong referral source

· Leader in the region for interventional therapies offering RFA, peripheral and spinal stimulation

· Clinic hours: 7:30am-5:00pm

· Physician call every 3rd week

New York City and Philadelphia are also just a short drive away.
