Duties: The Gastroenterologist at Cleveland Clinic provides services at two Clinic locations: Cleveland Clinic Summit Gastroenterology (3939 S. Cleveland Massillon Road, Norton, OH 44203) and Cleveland Clinic Akron General (1 Akron General Avenue, Akron, OH 44307). He or she utilizes the latest endoscopy advances to diagnose and treat diseases of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, including disorders related to the esophagus, stomach, intestines, gallbladder, liver, and pancreas. Services and procedures provided by the Gastroenterologist include: colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, capsule endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). Duties include on-call responsibilities.

Requirements: Prior to commencement of employment, position requires: MD or foreign equivalent as determined by a credentials evaluation or as evidenced by an ECFMG certificate, Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Gastroenterology, and eligibility for Ohio medical licensure.

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience ($420,000 per year)
