Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center is seeking a board eligible/board certified Cardiologist with Critical Care Cardiology training and experience to join our academic practice of 40 Cardiologists at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) in Lebanon, NH, one of the nation's leading innovators in clinical care and national healthcare policy and the primary affiliate of the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth.

This position comprises rotations providing collaborative team based care including cardiac anesthesiologists, critical care medicine and cardiologists in a new co-management model. Clinical competencies include: management of mixed shock, multiorgan dysfunction, and mechanical circulatory support, airway management, vascular access, pulmonary artery catheterization, bedside echocardiographic imaging, and the operation of bedside hemodynamic recording systems. Understanding quality metrics, best practices and protocols in the intensive care setting.

This cardiologist supervises and is involved in teaching our excellent cardiovascular fellows, residents, medical students, and advance practice providers. We value the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in nursing, discharge planning, pharmacy, and throughout the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Heart and Vascular Center. Candidates with an academic interest in quality, patient safety, innovative health care delivery, or outcome research are preferred. Those with an interest and aptitude for leadership or research will be considered for protected time for these pursuits. This position holds an academic title at the Geisel School of Medicine commensurate with experience and academic portfolio.
