Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist / Valhalla

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Consultation Liaison (CL) Psychiatrist for our Division of Behavioral Health at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York. Candidates will provide care to patients, supervising residents, and evaluating patients for admission. The Attending Psychiatrist will have the responsibility for clinical care and educational activities on an acute adult inpatient unit, including collaboration with a multidisciplinary treatment team, resident teaching, and the opportunity to participate in our eHealth Initiative. Academic rank at the New York Medical College will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. The successful candidate should have a track record of strong clinical accomplishments and an interest in teaching and/or working in an academic environment.

Training/License:

The applicant must have completed training in General Psychiatry, and must board certified in Adult Psychiatry. Prefer CL training or CL board certification. Must possess or be fully eligible for a New York State medical license.
