Nephrologist Position - Everett, WA

Western Washington Medical Group (WWMG) Nephrology provides nephrology care in the Everett area of Snohomish County. Our practice is located on the campus of (but not affiliated with) Providence Regional Medical Center (PRMCE) in Everett. We deliver care to a large population of Snohomish County.

We are seeking a BE/BC Nephrologist to join our practice soon with a view to full partnership. The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary with an excellent and comprehensive benefit package.  

WWMG is a unique multispecialty medical group with almost 100 providers, maintaining firm independence from the larger systems, while coexisting competitively with them. Subspecialty groups within WWMG maintain a strong individual character and have autonomous control of their practice. We are fully integrated into state-of-the-art EMR systems and electronic billing and reporting, etc.

We have a large dialysis practice and a strong referral base in the community. We continue to grow, as Western Washington Medical Group grows, as the county population grows, and as we develop more referral sources in the community.

We are associated with a number of dialysis units in Snohomish County (and beyond), and see patients at most of them. We serve as medical directors for many of these.

We have a busy office practice, solely Nephrology, which caters to the needs of the community, and in particular, sees referrals from within the WWMG group and from outside but most prominently the Providence group of Primary care providers (PMG). 

Our Hospital practice is busy and focused on providing care to a single institution, PRMCE (Providence). PRMCE is a very busy ~ 500-bed tertiary referral center for points north of King County, and we share call in various forms with competing practices on the hospital campus.

We have a collaborative relationship with our competing neighbors and share resources and call when reasonable. However, the groups are distinctly separate and different.

We have excellent relationships with nephrology in Seattle and at the University of Washington and have a great transplantation service from the Seattle groups.

Everett is a long established and ever growing city of more than 110,000 people in Snohomish County, and is less than half an hour north of Seattle. It is located on the water at Port Gardner, has a large marina, a vibrant boating community, and has ready access to the San Juan Islands and the North Cascades National Parks. Everett has all the expected resources of a city of its size. It’s a great place to live!
