Cleveland Clinic is currently seeking applicants for the Section Head of Audiology within the Head and Neck Institute. Candidates should hold a PhD, a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), be eligible to obtain an Ohio license and meet hospital credentialing requirements. Proven leadership and research, including extramural funding, is preferred.

The ideal candidate for the Section Head of Audiology should be a recognized leader within the profession of Audiology as an outstanding clinician, educator and scholar, who supports research and education within a multi-specialty organization. The Section Head will have ultimate responsibility for the clinical, educational, research and fiscal oversight in order to achieve personal and institutional successes.

The Section of Audiology consists of three other PhD clinician scientists, 27 AuD clinicians, three newborn hearing screeners and two audiology assistants. Hearing services are offered across 10 locations in Northeast Ohio, implantable devices across seven locations and balance services across three locations. In addition, we have an active Doctor of Audiology (AuD) Externship training program selecting 10-13 students a year to complete their final year of clinical experience.
