Overview
Minnesota Oncology is in need of an experienced BC/BE Radiation Oncologist for a robust practice in its Maplewood location. Minnesota Oncology is a multi-disciplinary private physician-led medical group specializing in hematology and oncology with more than 70 providers in medical oncology, radiation oncology, gynecology oncology, plastic surgery, breast surgery and thoracic surgery; serving in eleven clinic locations across the Twin Cities metro area. Our Maplewood Cancer Center is ASTRO accredited and houses two Varian linear accelerators, Eclipse treatment planning system, and PET scanner with a CT scanner available for diagnostic and simulation scans. We treat 50-60 patients per day and offer treatments with RapidArc IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS respiratory gating, radiopharmaceuticals and HDR brachytherapy. It is staffed with 5 radiation oncologists, 6 medical oncologists, 1 gynecologic oncologist, 3 advanced practice providers, 1 palliative care provider, 3 dosimetrists, and full-time on-site physics. 1:5 call schedule with no hospital call. Minnesota Oncology maintains strong relationships with other private medical groups and hospital systems in the Twin Cities and has an excellent reputation as a referral center for patients in the Twin Cities metro area and outlying communities.
