The Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition is seeking a board eligible or board certified Internal Medicine physician with experience in parenteral/enteral nutrition to join the largest, physician-led multidisciplinary nutrition support team in the country. The Center for Human Nutrition within the department offers a number of specialized nutrition services to treat patient conditions including but not limited to:
  • Cancer
  • Celiac Disease
  • Crohns/Ulcerative Colitis
  • Cystic Fibrosis
  • Diabetes
  • Heart Failure
  • High Cholesterol
  • General Nutrition (Wellness, Prevention)
  • IV (Parenteral) Nutrition
  • Kidney Disease
  • Liver Disease
  • Malabsorption
  • Malnutrition
  • Surgery
  • Swallowing Problems
  • Transplant
  • Tube (Enteral) Feeding
  • Weight Loss

As a major referral center for patients with intestinal failure we care for patients requiring hospital and home parenteral and enteral nutrition and transplantation. We will provide training to become part of our multi-disciplinary team of physicians, advanced practice practitioners, dietitians and nurses.

Candidates would join a team of 80+ gastroenterologists within the Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition throughout Northeast Ohio. This is an established and respected team with a desire to provide the utmost in quality care for patients. Candidates should be BC/BE in internal medicine, able to obtain an Ohio medical license and meet hospital credentialing requirements.
