Cleveland Clinics Department of Occupational Health seeks a Board Certified physician for the position of Associate Medical Director of Cleveland Clinic At Work.

Cleveland Clinic At Work operates in over a dozen locations providing health care services to employers, their employees, and their beneficiaries. The Medical Director shares responsibility for clinical, operational, financial, and strategic oversight of the unit.

The ideal candidate will be Board Certified in a Primary Care specialty, Emergency Medicine, or Occupational Medicine. He or she will have experience and comfort in providing Occupational, Primary Care, urgent Care, and Wellness medical care services, as well as in treating patients of all ages, including pediatric patients. He or she will have knowledge of drug-testing programs and be a certified Medical Review Officer. As the leader of the division, the Associate Medical Director supervises and collaborates with members of the Cleveland Clinic At Work health care team including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurses. He or she interacts and collaborates with other Cleveland Clinic leaders throughout the organization. This includes presenting to organizational leaders as well as to outside organizations. The position necessitates strong interpersonal, organizational, leadership, and professional skills. The ideal candidate will have prior management experience.
