Boulder Community Health is recruiting for 2 separate pulmonary positions to start late summer/fall of 2022. We will be replacing a retiring pulmonary critical care physician and adding another outpatient-based pulmonary and sleep provider as part of our growing practice. Our hospital is an active level 2 trauma center and has active cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, oncology, and orthopedic programs. The practice performs both outpatient and inpatient pulmonary and critical care procedures including intubation, central lines, chest tubes, percutaneous tracheostomy, EBUS, and right heart catheterizations. Surgery, anesthesia, and interventional radiology are available 24/7. Call is shared equally between all providers. Clinic is a 4-day work week. There is ample vacation time, excellent benefits, and competitive salary. Boulder County is continuously rated as one of the top places to live by U.S. News and World Report. Boulder has excellent weather, great access to outdoor activities, and an excellent food scene.

An ideal candidate for the pulmonary critical care position will be comfortable working in the ICU and seeing inpatient pulmonary consultations, performing procedures as well as seeing patients in clinic and interpreting PFTs. Some experience with sleep medicine is helpful but not necessary.

An ideal candidate for the outpatient pulmonary and sleep position will be comfortable seeing outpatient pulmonary and sleep patients, interpreting pulmonary function testing, and reading both in-lab and home sleep studies.
