Klickitat Valley Health is a rural, critical-access hospital located in scenic Goldendale, Washington only two hours from Portland along the breathtaking Columbia River Gorge. KVH offers emergency and acute inpatient care and a full scope of ancillary services including General Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory, Respiratory Therapy, PT / OT, Behavioral Health, Orthopedics, Dental, Pain Management, and Hospice. The hospital also owns a busy, well-established primary clinic that is located on hospital campus. Inpatient care is managed by 24/7 Hospitalist staff.  KVH employs nearly 300 staff.

Location

Goldendale, population 3,500, is nestled among the rolling Simcoe Hills with gorgeous views of Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams. Hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, skiing, kayaking, and windsurfing are world class, with the Columbia River and untouched wilderness just minutes away. Locals enjoy the cultural offerings of Hood River and Portland, as well as the dozens of wineries that dot the landscape throughout the Columbia River Gorge. Each of the four seasons are prominent with beautiful wildflowers in the Spring and fiery orange shades in the Fall. Position Description

Klickitat Valley Health Family Medicine is now accepting applications for a Family Medicine Physician to join our exceptional primary care team. This provider will join 4 physicians and 4 mid-level providers in the Family Medicine Clinic. The clinic also offers an ExpressCare clinic, Pain Management, Behavioral Health, a dental clinic, and Diabetes services. General Surgery and Orthopedics available. Podiatry, Cardiology, Dermatology and Pulmonology specialists are regularly available as visiting physicians through our Specialty Clinic. Each FM provider has dedicated support staff including an MA and virtual scribe. Leadership structure in the clinic consists of a Medical Director (Physician), Clinic Manager, Clinic Support Staff Supervisor (RN), and Office Support Staff Supervisor. The EMR is Meditech Expanse and providers are supported by a Clinical Informatics RN. Patient volume is 13-17/day. 3 or 4 day work week, no call/OB.
