Job Details
Seeking a full-time, board-certified/board-eligible Pulmonary Critical Care physician to join an established private practice located at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center in Tarzana, California. You'll be working under Dr. Tom Yadegar, who has been with the practice for 20 years and is looking to grow the practice. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Work with a comprehensive, multidisciplinary team while living just moments away from exciting Los Angeles.
Where You'll Work
Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center is a distinguished hospital for clinical excellence, ranking it among the top 5% in the nation for 27 of the most common diagnoses and procedures. The 249-bed facility is among the best-rated hospitals in the San Fernando Valley for treatment of stroke, heart attack, vascular disease, pulmonary care and maternity care. With one of the most renowned NICUs in the region, Providence Tarzana is a designated Pediatric Medical Center.
Where You'll Live
Tarzana, Los Angeles is likely the only neighborhood in the United States named after an early 20th century pulp hero. This western Los Angeles neighborhood sits on the site of a ranch owned by Edgar Rice Burroghs, the creator of the storied jungle adventurer. Today, Burroughs' old ranch features a temperate climate, a comfortably low population density, and easy access to California parkland, giving it a small-town feel inside of America's second-largest city.
Who You'll Work For
Providence is a nationally recognized, comprehensive health care organization spanning seven states with a universal mission - to provide compassionate care to all who need its services, especially the poor and vulnerable. Its 119,000-plus caregivers/employees serve in 51 hospitals, more than 800 clinics and a comprehensive range of health and social services. Providence: one name, one family, one extraordinary health system.
