The Riley at IU Health plastic surgery team, led by board certified plastic surgeons with subspecialty fellowship training, provides a wide range of reconstructive surgical care to children. Treating children across Indiana, our surgeons are committed to providing leading-edge, compassionate care to restore patients to their best selves. Our group is seeking a Plastic Surgeon interested in pediatric microsurgery and complex reconstruction to join our existing, collaborative practice with support available from two established pediatric microsurgeons.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Microsurgical and complex reconstruction, including congenital anomalies, oncological defects and traumatic conditions
    • Microvascular reconstruction
    • Nerve surgery
    • Complex flap surgery
    • General pediatric plastic surgery
  • Teaching will take place during didactic teaching and within clinical settings
  • Research is supported with our full-time Clinical Research Coordinator, other research interests will be supported as needed according to experience

Position Details:
  • Clinical position with standard Monday-Friday schedule and shared call with other plastic surgery faculty
  • Approximately 50-75% inpatient and 25-50% outpatient coverage
  • Faculty appointment with the Indiana University School of Medicine

Qualifications:
  • Completion of Plastic Surgery residency
  • Completion of Pediatric and/or Microsurgery fellowship
  • New graduates or experienced providers are encouraged to apply
  • ABPS BE/BC
  • Physician MD/DO licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure
