Temple Health seeks part-time Laborists to join our team. 

The Laborists provide overnight, daytime, and/or weekend coverage in labor and delivery at Temple University Hospital, a 746-bed tertiary- and quaternary-level acute care hospital in close proximity to the School of Medicine. TUH is a high volume urban center, with over 150,000 outpatient visits yearly, over 28,000 admissions, and over 2,600 births.

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology employs approximately 25 MDs or MD/PhDs in the department plus supporting administrative, nursing, and research staff. There are five clinical divisions including General Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Women's Pelvic Health Program, Reproductive Endocrinology, and Gynecologic Oncology. The department supports 21 residents.

Successful candidates will possess outstanding clinical skills and must work independently and collaboratively with multi-disciplinary staff, management, and other health care providers, and qualify for a volunteer adjunct faculty appointment at The Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University.

Candidates must obtain medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and be board certified or eligible in OB/GYN prior to start date. Prior experience working in an academic setting is preferred, but not required.
