Job Details

Cleveland Clinic Childrens is seeking a BC/BE Adolescent Medicine Physician (BC/BE in Pediatrics, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Med-Peds, and BC/BE in Adolescent Medicine) to join our dynamic group. Our Adolescent Medicine position involves primarily outpatient care for youth Mondays through Fridays, with inpatient consults as needed with a shared call schedule. Our specialty services include reproductive health care for all youth including those with chronic conditions, youth with bleeding disorders, care of GLBTQ youth, and children/adolescents/young adults with eating disorders. Other areas of service are developed opportunistically by need/interest. We have a multidisciplinary team and serve solely as a consult service for all inpatient care.

Teaching opportunities abound, with pediatric residents and medical students from Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case, and future fellowship training opportunities. For those with specific interest, our research team welcomes those candidates interested in collaborative clinical research related to any/all aspects of adolescent health, including quality improvement, education, reproductive health and delivery of care in various settings, racial justice and health care disparities, eating disorders, substance abuse, and mental health. Academic appointment through the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case provides further opportunities for teaching, research and professional development. Leadership development within Cleveland Clinic and externally is encouraged.
