In addition to starting a new General Surgery Residency Program in 2022, we are in the process of transitioning from a Level III to a Level II Trauma Center and we are looking for an Orthopedic surgeon with a Fellowship in Trauma to assist with the growth of those programs. You would join a hospital based practice with seven physicians and five APCs. The Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon would be based in our Dover practice. The group is active in supporting local college and high school sports teams. Procedures will be performed at the Kent Campus in Dover. Surgeons enjoy OR block time at both campuses as well a free-standing surgery center.

Candidates must have completd, or plan to complete a Fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma.

Bayhealth Medical Center uses EPIC as a fully integrated EMR (Epic) in both the inpatient and outpatient practices to enhance the continuity of care and improve the patient experience.
