The Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) and New York-Presbyterian is seeking an academically oriented board-certified/board eligible hematologist-oncologist to join our rapidly growing WCM Gastrointestinal Medical Oncology Program at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. The applicant will join the WCM Gastrointestinal (GI) Oncology Program WCM working closely with international leaders in GI Oncology to expand our world class GI oncology program to Brooklyn. The ideal candidate will have experience in Gastrointestinal Oncology including disease management, clinical trials, and translational research. The applicant will also become a member of the Meyer Cancer Center.

The Multidisciplinary GI Oncology Program includes a dynamic team of oncologists, surgeons, gastroenterologists, pathologists, radiologists, and geneticists who aim to transform how we detect and treat GI malignancies. This dedicated and energetic clinician, clinical researcher and teacher will have the opportunity to expand a busy oncology program in Brooklyn, population 2.6 million, New York's largest borough.

NYPBMH is a 650-bed academic teaching program in Park Slope, Brooklyn with a full range of residencies and a hematology/medical oncology fellowship program. The successful candidate will join a growing Heme-Onc Division and practice in the institution's 400,000 square foot outpatient building, the Center for Community Health, whose top floor is devoted to hematology and medical oncology. The center includes a 32-chair infusion center and a dedicated clinical trials space.
