The Department of Radiology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock is seeking a board-certified fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist to join our established service of five Interventional Radiologists. This full-time faculty position is based at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire where responsibilities include the provision of image-guided interventional services, participate in the outpatient clinic and admitting service, teaching and research. Procedures include percutaneous biopsies, drains, central venous access, diagnostic and interventional arteriography and venography, vein ablation, treatment of vascular malformations, embolization for trauma/tumor/GI bleed, ablation and IRE of tumors, uterine fibroid embolization, dialysis access recanalization, vertebroplasty and potential participation on the neuro-interventional service. There are three IR Associate Providers (NP or PA). Academic responsibilities include teaching residents (2 IR and 3 Diagnostic per year) and medical students, participation in multi-disciplinary conferences, and participation in clinical or translational research. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience. Applicants must be eligible for licensure in New Hampshire.

The successful candidate will join an academic practice comprised of 40 radiologists. Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center is the only academic medical center in New Hampshire, providing tertiary care services for our region, and serving as the only Level 1 trauma center in the state. State-of-the-art Interventional Radiology imaging equipment includes four CT scanners (two interventional), and two single- and two dual-plane angiography suites, one C-arm central venous access suite, and one ultrasound room.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Board Certified Fellowship trained in Radiology
  • Must obtain and maintain a medical license in the State of New Hampshire and Vermont.
