Duke Health seeks an Interventional Cardiologist (BE/BC) for an established practice at Kernodle Clinic in Burlington, North Carolina.
Kernodle Clinic, Dukes flagship practice in their western market, is a 90-provider multispecialty group practice with three office locations in Alamance County. Kernodle includes 15 specialties, a complex lab, diagnostic x-ray, nuclear cardiology, and stress echo ultrasound services.
Kernodles Cardiology department has four full-time Cardiologists (2 interventionalists and 2 invasive) and 4 Advanced Practice Providers. The office practice locations are in Burlington and Mebane and hospital affiliation with ConeHealths Alamance Regional Medical Center (ARMC) in Burlington. The office is open Monday - Friday 8a-5p. Practice call on a 1:4 rotation. The interventionalists will also have STEMI call at ARMC.
Centrally located in the state, Alamance County (population 170,000) includes the midsize communities of Burlington (population 50,000), Elon and Mebane, and straddles the metro regions of Raleigh/Durham and Greensboro/Winston-Salem.
Burlington is located only a few hours drive from the picturesque Blue Ridge and Great Smoky Mountains to the west and the scenic coastal beaches to the east.
