The University of Virginia Health System Physicians Group is seeking a full time Nephrologist to join our renal team in Farmville, Virginia. We are a group practice, specializing in Internal Medicine and Nephrology.

ASPIRE TO WORK WITH THE BEST. You will have the opportunity to join a group of twenty-three (23) providers and be associated with a well-respected, academic health system.
ASPIRE TO PERFORM AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL. These positions require MD or DO, completed Fellowship in Nephrology, current VA license (or license eligibility) and BC or BE.
ASPIRE TO LIVE IN THE BEST. The Physicians Group works collaboratively with the University of Virginia School of Medicine, School of Nursing, and Medical Center to provide the highest quality patient care. The UVA Health System has five long-established dialysis units in Lynchburg, Amherst, Appomattox, and Alta-Vista, and Farmville, Virginia, including a vibrant home dialysis program all with direct access to hospital of the University of Virginia Medical Center

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: MD or DO Degree
Experience:
Board certification in Nephrology (if newly graduated from residency, must be obtained within 2 years of graduation) must be kept current, Unrestricted license to practice within the Commonwealth of Virginia, Current DEA certificate without restriction
Skills:
Current Virginia license or LE
Current BLS
Current DEA
