Pediatric Critical Care Division Chief (Riley Hospital)

Indiana University Health and Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking a Pediatric Intensivist to join Riley Hospital for Children as the new Division Chief of Pediatric Critical Care. As one of the highest acuity centers in the U.S. according to The Children's Hospital Association, the Riley pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) treats more than 2,500 patients annually. With 42 beds, our PICU is capable of caring for children with a variety of complex illnesses and offers services other hospitals are not equipped to provide, including ECMO, inhaled nitric oxide therapy, dialysis and high-frequency oscillatory ventilation.

Position Details:

• 90% inpatient work and 10% sedation team practicing at Riley Hospital for Children, IU Health North and Community Hospital North

• Faculty appointment with the IU School of Medicine with expectation for clinical education of medical students, residents and fellows

Qualifications:

• Completion of pediatric residency and pediatric critical care and cardiovascular intensive care fellowships
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatric Critical Care
• Experienced providers at Associate Professor level or above only for consideration
• Successful candidate will be collaborative, accountable and engaged
• Physician MD/DO licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure
