Neonatology opportunity in Hartford, Connecticut.

Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group seeks a BC/BE Neonatologist to join our expanding Neonatology program at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut.

This is a full-time opportunity to work with an established team that includes four Neonatologists and a full complement of physician assistants and APRNs. Here you will utilize the full breadth of your clinical expertise in a 28-bed, Level 3 NICU and our level I & II satellite nurseries in the region. Our team shares responsibilities to ensure there is 24/7 coverage for the NICU, hospitalist coverage for the newborn nursery, and coverage for complicated deliveries and cesarean sections. Working within Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center-an academic affiliate hospital-you will have ample opportunities to teach medical students from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University. And, as an active training hospital, the NICU continually rotates residents from Saint Francis' OB/GYN, Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine resident programs, as well as students from Capital Community College Paramedics and St. Joseph's University Physician Assistant programs.

Practicing in Hartford, Connecticut's state capital, puts you in the heart of New England. One million residents choose to reside in the greater Hartford area because it offers a tremendous selection of welcoming neighborhoods in which to live, excellent public and private schools, great restaurants, shopping, music, museums and historical areas. The central New England location puts you in close proximity to New York City and Boston with easy access to dependable air and rail services.

As part of Trinity Health Of New England-the region's largest nonprofit health system-you will experience a culture of provider collaboration. Our practice model empowers providers to work at their highest level, while allowing time for professional development and family life. If you are focused on providing outstanding patient-centered care, you will thrive within Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group.
