The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and the Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a heart failure specialist at the level of Associate Professor or higher for a leadership role at the Morningside campus. This clinician leader would serve as heart failure director and support the growth of the heart failure service at Morningside Hospital where the position will be based. This is a full-time academic position with clinical, research, and teaching opportunities. Board Certification in cardiology and advanced heart failure is required. The candidate will receive an academic appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. The candidate would coordinate the development of a heart failure unit staffed by 2 HF specialists, 2 NPs, and a specialty fellow. The Division at Mount Sinai Morningside is an integral part of the Mount Sinai Department of Cardiology which is among the highest-ranked in the country for quality, reputation, and NIH funding, thus offering remarkable opportunities for academic growth.
