Psychiatrist

Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center is looking to add a Psychiatrist to our multidisciplinary team in our New Haven location. There are opportunities for teaching: Yale residents, Addiction psychiatry fellows, and Yale medical students with corresponding clinical faculty appointments.

We are the largest provider of outpatient behavioral healthcare in Southern Connecticut. We offer a full complement of mental health services including:

• Adult Mental Health & Counseling Services
• Addiction Services including MAT
• Child and Family Guidance Services
• Inpatient Detox
• Geriatric Psychiatric Services

Summary

The Psychiatrist maintains responsibility for psychiatric consultation of the BHD site(s) assigned. The Psychiatrist will work in collaboration with the Program Director(s) of the site(s) to deliver appropriate clinical services and treatment planning. Works to lead a multidisciplinary team to provide direct service and supervision of/consultation to staff. Will collaborate with mid-levels as assigned by the Medical Director.
