Job Description: The Department of Medical Education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks to hire a non-tenure Assistant Professor, anticipated start date November 2021. Areas of Specialization (AOS): Open. Areas of Competence (AOC): Open. Research interests should complement those of current faculty. The Department of Medical Education has research and teaching needs in curriculum design and delivery, academic and non-academic student development, and evolution of the learning environment. Completion of a PhD is required prior to start of appointment.

About the Department: The Department of Medical Education at UAB supports an undergraduate major and also serves the core curriculum. Current faculty research is in areas of analytic philosophy with traditional strengths in ethics, epistemology, and philosophy of science.
