This individual will lead the division through continued growth and development of the highest quality research programs. In addition, they will be expected to recruit faculty who will contribute to the research mission of the College of Medicine and University. The division director will support robust residency and medical student training expectations and provide mentoring and administrative support to those delegated to direct these endeavors.

Essential Functions
Successful candidate will provide fiscal leadership, faculty and staff development, recruitment of a diverse faculty and staff and foster philanthropic stewardship to the division. This individual will be charged with nurturing an environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion. In addition, the division director should be highly responsive to UC Health and UCP efforts to improve quality, impact, and value-based care. The division director should be supportive of new initiatives and be open minded to efforts that might expand beyond our local campus to other surrounding areas or virtually (via telemedicine).

Minimum Requirements
MD, DO, MD/PhD or commensurate degree
