The Division of Medical Oncology at Duke University Medical Center and the Duke Cancer Institute are recruiting a board certified MD or MD/PhD Medical Oncologist with a committed interest and expertise in thoracic cancer. Responsibilities include an outpatient clinical service in the Duke Cancer Center, significant role as an independent clinical investigator, educating fellows and housestaff, plus ample protected time for translational research. Salary and faculty rank will be commensurate based on qualifications. Duke also provides an outstanding benefits package, including a tuition benefit for college age children.
The Duke Thoracic Cancer Program applies our world-renowned research and innovative treatments to deliver leading-edge and compassionate care for individuals facing cancer. Therapeutics focusing on the prevention and treatment of thoracic cancer have been a strong focus of the program. Our faculty are members of the Duke Cancer Institute, one of only 40 centers in the country designated as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute.
Commonly referred to as "The Triangle," Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill offer many options for families, outdoor activities, unique shops, dining and nightlife.
