Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Neurology is recruiting for the Director of the Multiple Sclerosis Clinic. The MS director will assume care for an existing panel of MS patients with facilities that include an ambulatory infusion center, a clinical trials center, the full spectrum of imaging modalities, and a multidisciplinary clinic housed within neurology that includes: psychology, physical, occupational, and speech therapy. The neurology department includes 25 adult neurologists located in Southeastern California and serves a population of over 4 million people in Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

Fellowship training in MS and neuro-immunology or equivalent experience in the management of MS patients is required. This position will have a flexible balance of both neurology clinics and attending our general neurology teaching ward service. We are looking for someone with passion for teaching our neurology residents, fellowships, and medical students, and instilling in them a sense of clinical duty, partnership, and whole-person care. Added faculty development in seminars and conferences dedicated to furthering neurology education and teaching are supported and opportunities for clinical research and educational outcomes are available.

Our neurology department serves our brand new tertiary academic medical center, an expanding regional medical center (Riverside University Medical Center), a faculty clinical practice, and a Federally Qualified Health Center (SAC Health Systems). We are a highly collegial group that balances fulfilling academic careers with lifestyle and family.

Loma Linda is located between Los Angeles and Palm Springs with convenient access to beach cities, skiing, hiking, and a variety of other outdoor activities. This region has excellent private and public school systems and our position offers a competitive salary and benefit package. The position may qualify for loan repayment opportunities. Academic rank is commensurate with experience.

This is not a J-1 opportunity.
