Job Details
Providence Kodiak Island is seeking an OB/GYN to join its community of care givers in Kodiak Island, Alaska. This is an extremely collegial and tight-knit group providing much-needed services to patients all across the area. As such, your work here will have a huge impact on the health and wellbeing of many local (and often quite rural) communities. The work itself involves a mix of inpatient and outpatient care (including maternity care and deliveries) at a facility that houses four birthing suites. Be part of a team that's truly making a difference to women across Alaska.
Where You'll Work

With this strong network of primary and specialty care, Providence Medical Group - Alaska is focused on serving its community and being the best place in the state to practice medicine and receive care.
Where You'll Live
Kodiak is famous for its fishing, huge Kodiak brown bears and lush mountains. The Kodiak Islanders also pride themselves on lesser-known highlights, such as excellent public and private schools, organized youth sports, several churches, museums and dozens of annual community events. The island's tight-knit population of 14,000 is rich in cultural diversity, including Alaska Natives, Asians, Hispanics and Pacific Islanders. Within minutes of the city, you can be beachcombing, hiking in a magnificent forest or salmon fishing in a pristine stream.
