The Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition at Cleveland Clinic is seeking experienced Gastroenterologists for a hospital based position. The majority of time will be spent on inpatient GI consultations and endoscopies. Opportunities for limited outpatient practice are available depending on candidate preferences. The position is supported by nurse practitioners who assist with consult volume and facilitate outpatient follow-up, allowing the physician to work at the top of their license. Moreover, all inpatient responsibilities are transitioned to an on call physician at 5 pm, assuring an optimal work-life balance. Candidates will have the opportunity to advance their leadership skills and familiarity with community hospital settings to develop and lead community and suburban GI inpatient consultative programs in the Cleveland Clinic Health System. Candidates should have an interest in administration and managerial skills, measuring and demonstrating hospitalist program value, and outstanding communication skills to work with consulting physicians and hospital leadership.

Candidates would join a team of 80+ gastroenterologists within the Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition throughout Northeast Ohio. This is an established and respected team with a desire to provide the utmost in quality care for patients. Candidates should be BC/BE in gastroenterology, able to obtain an Ohio medical license and meet hospital credentialing requirements.
