Cardiac Critical Care Physician - AtlantiCare Heart & Vascular Institute - Pomona, NJ

AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center is seeking a cardiac intensivist to join our dynamic, rapidly growing team. This exciting opportunity includes providing critical care management for a 10-bed CTICU with a 6-bed CTICU step-down unit. The intensivist cares for patients with advanced cardiac disease who are undergoing a wide variety of interventions, including percutaneous procedures, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, mechanical support with ECMO, and post-coronary artery bypass surgery. The intensivist additionally works with our active Thoracic Surgery Department, which offers a vibrant lung nodule program and robotic bronchoscopy. The intensivist participates in multidisciplinary rounds with pharmacy, cardiology, and cardiothoracic surgery, and engages in teaching opportunities with our internal medicine residents.

This position offers a competitive salary with a schedule of 14 shifts per month that allows a great work/life balance. The ideal candidate will be BC/BE in critical care/pulmonary critical care with experience in cardiac ICU, ultrasonography and mechanical support.
