Job Details
NYPBMH is a 650-bed academic teaching program in Park Slope, Brooklyn with a full range of residencies and a hematology/medical oncology fellowship program. The successful candidate will join a growing Heme-Onc Division and practicein the institution's 400,000 square foot outpatient building, the Center forCommunity Health, whose top floor is devoted to hematology and medicaloncology. The center includes a 32-chair infusion center and a dedicatedclinical trials space.
The ideal candidate will have experience in caring for patients with lymphoma, myeloma, leukemia and other blood disorders and with clinical trial enrollment. We seek a dedicated and energetic clinician, clinical researcher, teacher, with the desire to expand a busy hematology program in Brooklyn, population 2.6 million, New York's largest borough.
Located in Park Slope , one of the most popular neighborhoods in Brooklyn , known for its' ethnic diversity, excellent public and private schools, Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens and trending restaurants and bars. The neighborhood attracts artists, professionals, singles and families, as well as visitors from all over NYC and around the world.
