The Department of Critical Care Medicine in the Respiratory Institute at the Cleveland Clinic is seeking to hire a clinical associate with interest in the management of critically ill patients to practice in the Medical ICU at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. The 64-bed MICU at Main Campus is one of the largest MICU in the US and cares for patients with very high acuity of illness and complex diseases and conditions including organ transplants. More than 30% of our MICU patients are referred from outside hospitals including national and international referrals. Typical candidates include recent graduates of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program that may be considering further clinical exposure to pursue careers in critical care and/or pulmonary medicine, but all potential applicants are encouraged. Ohio Medical License is preferred.
