The Health Policy Division has a broad array of faculty that research both domestic and global health policy with a wide range of topic areas including health services, economics of aging, anti-poverty policy, HIV policy, food policy, and other areas. Applicants early in career development are encouraged to apply.

The successful applicant for this position will:

This position is being funded by the Health Care Transformation Institute, co-led by Drs. Ezekiel Emanuel and Amol Navathe. The Institute has a focus on designing and evaluating interventions to improve quality and/or lower costs of care. In particular, the Institute has focused research projects on bundled payments, primary care capitation, physician feedback reporting, and end of life care interventions. The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate on and be the principal investigator on intervention studies as well as have their own research agenda. Experience with observational studies using statistical and/or econometric methods is necessary; additional experience with prospective studies in experimental economics or clinical trials is preferred.
