POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine, is currently recruiting for a full-time faculty position in the Clinical X series at the rank of Assistant Professor. Appointees to the Clinical X series are required to teach, participate in university service, provide direct patient care, and engage in creative work.

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

Applicants must have MD degree, be Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Board Certified/Board eligible in Infectious Diseases, and be eligible for medical licensure in the State of California. Candidates must have experience in HIV care, TB care, and strong clinical skills in management of Infectious Diseases. Successful candidates will see patients in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. Experience in or the ability to teach and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows is required. The ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment is required.
