The Transplantation Department at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston, Florida has a faculty position opening for a Kidney Transplant Surgeon.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of clinical experience in kidney and kidney/pancreas transplant along with expertise in cadaveric and living donor kidney transplantation. Fellowship training in an ASTS accredited abdominal transplantation program and board certification in general surgery are required. Urological skills are highly desirable.

The successful candidate will join a busy clinical practice and will have experience to sustain strategic expansion of the kidney transplant program in the south Florida area. Additionally, the ideal candidate, together with transplant nephrology team, will be available to the providers practicing across the Cleveland Clinic Florida region.

A focus on teaching and an interest in participating in developing research programs are also desired. The Transplant Center in Florida is closely aligned with the Transplant Institute at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.
