Duke University Department of Radiation Oncology is seeking a clinically and either board-eligible or board-certified Radiation Oncologist to focus on the management of head and neck cancer patients.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to develop her/his professional career within Duke University Radiation Oncology and the Duke Cancer Institute. There will be opportunities for both research and other scholarly activities.
The practice will include two clinical days/week at the Duke University Hospital in Durham and 1-2 clinical days/week at a community cancer center within 45 minutes of the triangle area with 1-2 days/week for scholarly time.
The greater Triangle area of Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill offers singles and families many options for an active outdoor and social life. The area is growing rapidly. There are excellent public and private schools for growing families. The Research Triangle Park, a globally prominent high-tech research and development center conceived around the three academic centers, has helped make the area culturally diverse and economically resilient. The Triangle is nationally recognized as a great place to live and work.
Both experienced candidates and those recently trained are encouraged to apply. Compensation will be based upon clinical and academic experience using AAMC benchmarks.
