Job Summary

Geisinger has an outstanding opportunity for a neurologist to join Geisinger’s Neuroscience Institute. The successful individual will have an active practice at Geisinger - Lewistown Hospital, located in Lewistown, PA, with the resources and support of the Neuroscience Institute.

Job Duties

Geisinger’s Neuroscience Institute works together to provide innovative surgical and non-surgical care for adults and children. With over 108 physicians, 33 advanced practitioners and 523 employees, we provide comprehensive care for patients with multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, spinal cord injuries, trauma and cancer conditions.

Geisinger – Lewistown Hospital is a community hospital with 123-beds including fully accredited echo, nuclear and vascular labs serving over 80,000 residents of Mifflin and Juniata counties as well as members of the contiguous counties of Centre, Perry, Snyder, and Huntingdon. In addition to robust cardiovascular programs, Geisinger – Lewistown Hospital has employed hospitalists that provide around the clock coverage, from admission to discharge.

Enjoy a large referral network of 51 Geisinger primary care providers in the region that will provide a strong foundation to support a robust practice from the start, while participating in a collegial and pleasant specialty practice atmosphere.
