The Division of Plastic, Oral, and Maxillofacial Surgery in the Department of Surgery at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina, is seeking a board eligible/certified, plastic surgeon with fellowship training in microvascular reconstruction. Candidates must have also completed an accredited program in plastic surgery.

The primary focus of the position will be breast reconstruction surgery. The individual may work at one or more of our Duke Health hospitals depending on future growth and needs. Ideal candidates will also have an interest in the education of medical students and residents as well as an inquisitive mind towards process improvement, clinical research or healthcare cost containment. Opportunities exist for a broad practice. Candidates interested in exploring areas such as aesthetics or complementary reconstructive realms are encouraged.

The Division faculty are recognized for expertise in the full spectrum of congenital and acquired conditions, clinical and basic research and education. Faculty members provide a full range of plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, microsurgery reconstructive procedures, craniomaxillofacial trauma, facial plastic procedures, as well as Level I trauma care to injured patients.
